Ferula communis, a huge (1m) and distinct looking Apiaceae.

      
       One of the most disting looking of the Cyprus Landscape is Ferula. It can reach about 1.5m and is not unlike a giant Fennel. It grows everywhere or allmost. One Ferula sp. (asa foetida) from Central Asia is an important medicinal plant.
